Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed giving thanks to his God, just as he has done before.
Daniel’s name in Hebrew means God’s Judgement or God’s Judge.
He made it a point to kneel and pray three times a day.
How many times do us stop and pray during the day? Do we even pray when someone asks us too? When the Lord asks us too?
Probably not as much as we need to. I know I am guilty of it.
I know I have people that will stand behind me 99.9% and give it their all. But I know the Lord will always be there 100% of the time. He is gonna give 110% to love me. And to hold me, and protect me. He is my best friend, my number one. I couldn’t imagine life without him.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I didn’t believe. I feel like the moment one of those thoughts cross my mind, he can hear it. He instantly strikes it down. I start to think back on all the times that made me believe.
And I know it’s real. The fulfillment I feel when I think about being a Christian and knowing God.
Daniel was exiled and thrown into the lions den for disobeying the King. The next morning the King raced down to the Lions Den to find Daniel still alive. Can you believe the faith he probably felt begin to overpower him? Daniel trusted in the Lord, and the lions did not hurt him. He remained faithful.
Faith can move mountains.
Remain to keep Faith in God and he will protect you, as he did Daniel. Some people don’t realize that they are giving just the crumbs of their bread to the Lord, instead of a full sandwich.
No one likes the crumbs anyway. What makes you think God does?
