Friday Night Loving

Anyone can find the dirt in someone. Be the one who finds the GOLD. — Proverbs 11:27

I had this friend. I’ve written about him a couple of times. He mean’s a lot to me, but I will never be able to tell him in person again.

Anyone can find the dirt in someone. Now days that’s all people look for. Who can find the latest rumor, who can find the meanest thing to say about someone. Lets see what kind of bad stuff we can find on this person today.

That’s NOT how this life should be. Maybe if we spent more time finding the good in people, we would actually be living a Godly life.

I know I am guilty of this, WE ALL ARE. There is not a single person out there that has never started a rumor, believed a rumor, said they couldn’t deal with a depressed person, could not say anything kindly, etc.

Be the person that tries to look past all the negative. If you know someone is struggling, can’t you help them at least try to focus on the good in life? I know it’s hard, and it can feel like a full time job. Sometimes you can’t give up. You literally could be that persons last chance.

Some people always feel like they didn’t do enough. I am one of those people. And you most likely probably, didn’t. But you tried, and that’s all that matters.

I feel like we do this with God too. We only find the negatives. Why does he do this? Why does he take these people away from us? He’s not real, you can’t even see him. He doesn’t give us blessings, he just is selfish and we don’t understand why he makes our lives miserable.

No people. You make your lives miserable. EVERYTHING happens for a reason. I’ve had the hardest time believing in that. God had a plan from the start. He has a set of lifestyles he wants us to live. He wants us to be followers and accept him for him, as he did for us. He knew what he was getting himself into when he created you and I.

Just pray. How many times have I said that in my past blogs? Pray that he leads you into the life you live. The good life. The life where you trust him.

We as humans, have so many different emotions, that when things don’t go our way we think it’s the absolute end of the world. It is not, life goes on. Yes be sad. Yes be happy, be mad, be confused, be stubborn. Be who you want. Believe what you want.

Be the good though. Be the person that doesn’t give up. Be the person that sets aside the negative, and looks for the good.
