A Easter Goodie

2020 Easter Treat

Easter has been one of my FAVORITE HOLIDAYS for as long as I could remember. I got married on Easter 3 years ago and now my first child has a huge possibility of being born on Easter if he comes before his induction date for Friday the 17th. I have been praying for a Easter baby! April is a really meaningful month for me and it holds so much significance now!

Also when I was younger Easter was just one of my favorites, plain and simple. We got to dress in the cutest dresses and go egg hunting, which is always an adventure. Even just watching my nephew and niece and all my husbands families kids and etc, hunt eggs is quite funny. Some kids even get competitive. Dying eggs was so fun, and something we looked forward to, just like carving pumpkins and the best part was waking up the next morning and getting the Easter basket!

So back to the actual topic of the blog post, I’m going to let you in on a Easter goodie that my dad likes to make every year! They can be a little time consuming but they are totally worth it!

  • Baybel Cheese
  • Carrots
  • Mini Chocolate Chips
  • Celery

Here’s what you do!

Take the baybel cheese and out 4 little slits in the cheese. Two at the top, and two in the face/cheek area on each side. Cut your carrots and celery up, (this is going to take you the longest). You want to make sure you cut them extremely small and skinny! Now the years will be very thin and flat like! Then take your chocolate chips and place them for the eyes!
Now the carrots you chopped, put two in the slots at the top you cut, and one of your tiny pieces as the nose! Do the same with the celery, but these are going to be your whiskers!

So there you go! Such a fun, cute, time consuming, Easter goodie! Which I’m sure is fine if it’s time consuming considering we are all on quarantine!

Happy Easter! I was an Easter baby but as a child I used to hate it because people used to give me easter eggs for my birthday instead of toys ha ha. Now I love it.
I love how tasty these sound and how cute they look
